Fridge not cooling enough, and freezer not freezing or making ice.... not hearing water filling to make ice either. Compressor is hot to the touch, and not hearing fridge "kick-on". Fan in freezer running, intermittent frost build up on freezer coils... defrost timer is new. Through reading your other answers to posts I believe this is a relay/starter, overload issue... or I hope thats all it is. Went to the local appliance parts store and wanted to get what you all have suggested: Compressor starting device - This refrigerator compressor starting device includes the start relay, overload and cover. I was given these two parts : Relay (part # 3204486) and Overload (part # 5303270406) The Overload was pretty much identical, but this relay has only 2 connectors vs. the 3 on the old one. Was I given the wrong part or is it not necessary for the remaining wire from the capacitor to be connected? and if its not... what would you suggest I do with the extra wire? Thanks for all your help, and I have appreciated this site greatly!!!
