icemaker stopped making ice

I have a 3 year Whirlpool side by side the icemaker has alwaysworked fine but, for some reason it just stopped making ice Can anyone share some thoughts as to why ? It looks as if the water line going to the back of the icemaker is frozen solid is this normal ? Thank you.......
