ice maker makes plenty of ice but the auger does not turn to bring the ice out at the door when i put my glass up to the door also the motor makes no sound. i took the auger motor out it works . so is it in the switches up front the gate in the freezer door opens and closes but no ice comes out.the bin is full of ice.it makes a little hum or grunt sound when it closes.there are several switches is it one of them that will not cause the the motor to come on?thanks 1-912-449-6558 call collect. this is for gene

Did the gate in the freezer door open (or click) when you pushed the ice lever on the dispenser? Here are the break down diagrams for the whirlpool refrigerator Model ED22TQXFW00Gene.

If you are saying the auger motor works and the gate in the door opens then the problem most likely is a bad push button switch (#18 on the diagram) in the dispenser front panel. - The part number for the switch is AP3132885Gene.
