Ice maker will dispense "crushed" ice only - regardless of setting. One day I pushed the "crushed" control button and never got cubed ice again, regardless of which button is depressed.

You might have an ice jam in the ice maker bin where the ice shute is, just pull out and defrost.

I have removed the bin and defrausted - I have unplugged the entire unit for up to 30 minutes thinking it may reset.......no luck

There is a solenoid in the back that moves a bar that moves the cover in the bin. This solenoid is probably bad, just locate and replace.

I have ordered the solenoid - in the meantime I want to take off the Bar-drive...........is there a trick/suggestion for removing it?
