Model Number: ED5GHEXNQ00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
GREETINGS,
I have a whirlpool side/side, mod ED5GHEXNQ00. No ice, pan empty. freezer is at zero degrees. I used a jumper wire to diagnos: V and L.... no water, no ice blocking tube. I thought I'd make it run an cylcle just to be sure jumper was working , so jumped T and H, Still nothing, no cycle no sound. So I'm not sure it needs a water valve. Is there a fuse for the icemaker? Thoughts? Thanks Ads By Google Related Models |

My Whirlpool icemaker stopped as well. No water, icemaker not moving, not able to jump any of the letter combinations on the icemaker and get a response.
Check the sensor light on the right side of your door. I was told this gives power to the icemaker. Mine blinks twice then stops, repeats. When I push the flap on the left side so that the 2 sensors make contact, it still blinks. I was told this means the sensor is bad. It should stay on solid at this time. I ordered it and will have it in by Mon-Tues. |
