Hi - hoping someone can help troubleshoot. I have a GE profile side by side and recently the temps have been fluctuating. I have the freezer set at 0 and the fridge set at 37, per the GE instructions. Occasionally, the freezer will jump to 4 or 5 and I'll find ice on items below the icemaker and the ice looks as is it has started to melt and refreeze, causing it to block together. The fridge side will vary some as well, but seems like a bigger problem on the freezer side.
Does this sound like something simple to fix? I'm fairly capable with electronics and mechanicals (certainly not an expert) and hate paying huge $$ for something I can do myself.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Thanks

What did you find out about your fridge problems? Mine seems to be doing the same thing. Thanks

Start a new thread and describe your problems with your model number.

Hi Tony, My post is old, but I did get the problem resolved. I actually had an extended warranty on the fridge, so called in a service tech. He checked the main board with his diagnostics and it came back fine. But, since it was covered under the warranty, he replaced it anyway. I haven't had a problem since. I don't usually go for the extended warranties, but this one event probably more than paid for it.
Good luck.
