Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

I have this older coldspot freezer probably fronm1950"s which needs one of the rods that hold things in the door shelves and a support bracket for the top shelf. It works great can I still get those somewhere?

You would need a model number to find the parts.

But do not be surprised if they are no longer available.

Perhaps a length of wood doweling could be used on the door.

As to the shelf bracket without actually being there I cannot suggest a jiggery pokery that would work.

I know I need the model number but that is at home so I will have to get that tonight but thank you for responding back to me I didn't think of a piece of doweling though. Phyllis
