Hi

I have a GE GSS22WGMDWW, i was having problems with the coils freezing over so i changed the thermo fuse and that did not help so I replaced both temp sensors in the freezer section, now it seems as though the freezer is getting too warm during the defrost cycle because i have lots of frost and the ice cubes are melting together. I am at my wits end with this thing and am about to bite the bullet and pay GE to come out. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Thank you for your reply,

The heater was replaced once already, the heater seems to be working fine, it is going on, just staying on too long, could it be that when i installed the temp sensor it did not connect correctly or a bad connecdtion ie. (loose connection)and the thermo fuse is shutting the heater off after it gets to hot instead of the temp sensor shutting the heater off

If the heater and thermostat have been changed the problem is probably the control board on the back of the unit. Main board assembly
