Model Number: TZ18Q2L Brand: Amana Age: More than 10 years
I have an Amana refrigerator TZ18Q2L over 10 years old with the freezer on top. The freezer drain has been freezing up and water has been dripping into the refrigerator compartment. The end of the drain can be seen inside the ceiling of the frig. compartment before it exits the rear. I have been using a hair dryer to thaw the ice on the drain before the defrost cycle begins. I have access to the evaporator coil, but the heater/drain is not visible. I want to remove the freezer floor, but there are not any visible fasteners to remove. It looks like it may be fastened or clipped somehow to the front metal cross strip on the divider block (where the magnetic door seal touches) . AppliancePartsPros.Com does not offer a repair/disassemble manual. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to remove the floor or where I can obtain a manual either specific or general that may help. Thanks, Wayne
