Ice maker doesn't produce ice
Model Number: 10689483995 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I have replaced thermastat.The ice plate is getting cold but not cold enough to make ice.Anyone have any ideas where or what my next step to find the problem.

Which thermostat did you replace? What is the temperature in the freezer?

The Thermostat is part num. 2217288. It hangs right above the ice tray near the opening of the door. It is not cold at all on the inside but is u touch the ice plate it is somewhat cold.
