not sure if this is a side by side as the modle # doesn't seem to come up. however, this could be a defrost/ evap fan problem. empty out the freezer and check the evaperator by removing the evaporator cover in the back of the freezer . if it is completly iced over, it is not allowing airflow to the refer, and you have a defrost problem (defrost timer, defrost heater, or defrost bi-metal). if the evaperator fan isnt blowing (will also not allow airflow) then you may have a bad evaporator fan motor. good luck and post your results

the fan is working its a little fan under the fridge

it is a side by side unit

is the freezer cover behind the ice crushing unit ?

where is the defrost timer set ?

i know there is a temp control unit on the fridge side

but on the freezer all i find is a metal box that hold the motor for crushing ice

please advice

As per fixxit previous advise, I would recommend to check first for snow built up on the back cover inside the freezer and performance of the evaporator fan, located behind the back cover in the freezer. The fan should run when the compressor is running.
Let me know what you found.

Gene.
