Hey! I was just given a frigidaire chest freezer...I was told it was around 4 years old, it's a compact version around 5.0 cu. ft. The gasket is not magnetic, so I'm concerned it won't be good for long term storage. Do some chest freezers, particularly older models not have magnetic gaskets? Sadly the area where the model number was is worn off. Aside from not being magnetic the gasket has some wear and tear, without the model number can I order a generic gasket to tighten up the seal? Thanks!
