I have 2 issues:

1) There is a temperature balance issue; Top of fridge & freezer is 10-12 degrees warmer than bottom.

I have a missing freezer light cover (just below evaporator fan) that I believe diverts air from the evaporator to the fridge and suspect it may be the problem but would like to verify if this could be the culprit.


2) There is an intermittent whining sound that I have yet to pinpoint location. I suspected the evaporator fan, but it seems to be running fine and without noise...
