Default VERY slow water and small ice from door
Model Number: pssngpabb   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years

Our GE fridge water dispenser has become painfully slow, just a trickle and we have noticed the ice cubes seem smaller. We've checked the lines going in and they are clear. We removed the water inlet valve and tested the solenoids which we think are fine. We can't see any way to clear the filter, if in fact it's clogged. Where do we go from here?

try checking your water pressure coming into the refer. take a small buckett and running water into the bucket. if there is too little pressure that could be your problem. if your water in comes from a reverse osmosis filter that cuts the water pressure in as well. otherwise your filter is the likely culprit. if running from an RO system and you think you might be having over kill you can get a bypass plug for your filter holder

Default low water pressure

I've seen where many solenoid valves have a screen at the inlet port to catch sediment which may be your problem... Make sure this screen is clear..
