Ice dispenser - irritating noise
Model Number: ED22ZRXBW00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
My great, old ice dispenser reacts with an eeerie, loud & long, sigh after dispensing ice. Is there a minor repair to the dispenser in the door which could resolve this annoying noise? It looks and seems like the metal piece attached with the flapper piece (hidden from view above the dispenser arm) doesn't move quickly enough into its proper place after releasing the dispenser arm.
