Hello,

Kitchenaid KFCS22EVMS0:

My freezer works perfectly but my refrigerator won't cool lower than 46 degrees (and right now is 50).

I had a repair guy out who replaced the control board and the thermistor but that did not fix anything.

I've read that it could be the start relay connected to the compressor or a loose connection with the defrost controls. I actually have a replacement relay that I can plug in that the repair guy suggested I order.

Can someone please tell me how to access the relay? Do I access it by removing the back freezer panel or do I get to it from the back of the unit? I would also like to check for a loose connection and possibly replace the bimetal at the same time.

More importantly, how exactly do I remove the back panel?

Thanks in advance.
