Hi Doug

How did you defrost it?

I would recommend remove all shelves and the back panel. Using a hair dryer, defrost all ice under the evaporator coils and the drain hole, then using a cup with very hot water make sure water goes through the drain.
If it does not, remove the cover on the back of the fridge, locate the end of the drain hose and make sure it is not clogged.

Good luck.
Gene.

Dear Gene,

Thank you for the information. We defrosted with dryer again, and this time took the back off and cleared the drain hose. Checked the defrost heater and it was 1.8 ohms, and defrost thermostat was normally open, but schematic showed it normally closed, which I believe to be incorrect.
I think our problem is solved, but I should know in a day or two.
Thank you again for your help.

Doug
