Talking fridge not cold
Model Number: msd2756dew   Brand: Maytag   Age: 1 - 5 years

my side by side fridge is acting strange.

1. the fridge does not get cold.
2. the freezer works.
3. also water is leaking from bottom of fridge.

yesterday i changed the auto defrost system. the freezer works but the motor continuously runs and the blower/fan (which blows the air from freezer to the fridge) is not operating at all. also before all this happened, the fridge leaked water from under and i turned the water off from its power source. help.

it has now been 24 hours,
could it be that it takes time for fridge time to get cold. right now 24 hrs later, the fridge is getting cold. i have not seen the blower work, where the freezer air is forced through upper vents. i put pop in it last night and now it is cold but not cold cold.

Pull the back freezer panel out and check evaporator fan.If voltage to it, but it fails to run, you will need to order one by clicking on your model # above.
