The ice maker has stopped sending water to the ice tray for freezing, I am looking for replacements parts to fix. I would like some advise on where to start with the process.

I assume there is some sort of H2O sending unit that is probably the source of the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem. Did you figure it out? Water is coming out up front from the water dispenser, but the ice maker is dead.

No, I have been waiting for someone to get back to me, but no responses as of yet. I keep buying ice and putting it in the container, my ice maker dispencer still works, just not the water to the ice tray.

I had the same problem. It turned out to be the module behind the face plate on the front of the ice maker. The big gear wheel that says "do not turn manually" has contacts behind it telling the solinoid for the icemaker only, to fill. For less than a hundred bucks got mine repaired and did it myself. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. I replaced the module behind the face plate in the front of the icemaker. The big gear wheel has electrical contacts behind it telling the soliniod to fill the ice tray. Replaced it for under a hundred bucks. All is fine now. Hope this helps.
