Initially the refrigerator wouldn't shut off, so I changed the thermostat. Now it cycles on and off. It will run for approx 6-10 minutes and then shut off for about the same period of time before coming back on. The refrigerator and freezer temperature controls are set in the middle. Is there anything I should check or adjust?

Did you route the new cold control capillary wire exactly where the old one was. Also, if the old one had a plastic sleeve on this capillary tube, did you put it on the new one?

Yes, the tube was routed in the same position as the original and with the plastic sleeve.

If the new control is not the identical fsp, then it just might have a smaller differential than the old one.
