ice maker will not cycle. If you reset the icemaker you will get one dump of ice but it will not continue making ice.

What is the complete model number of the refrigerator? What did you mean when you said "reset"?

the model number is Amana lea30al. There is a button to turn the ice maker on and off. I found another suggestion to turn the icemaker off for 30 seconds and then turn it back on and push the lever 3 times. This will work for one fill and then will not continue to cycle. Thanks,

Sounds like the ice maker itself is bad. The model number you posted is for the dryer.
