About 4 years ago, a Roper Refrigerator built in Nov 1998 began to form ice under the plastic liner in the freezer. the ice blocks the drain tube leading down to the tray beneath the refrigerator. Because of the blockage, water then drips down into the refrigerator unit; accumulating below and in the vegetable bin at the bottom and dripping onto the shelves. Initially when the problem began, the unit had to be defrosted about once a year. Now, the ice forms after about 2 months. What is wrong with the refrigerator and can it be repaired? Is it worth repairing a 13 year old unit?
