ice shoot flap won't close on ge side by side refrigerator

Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years

I think I have a broken spring that is causing my flap to stay open and I'm unsure how to fix.

a while back GE had a recall on the doors so i will need the model and the first three digits of the serial the had a mosture proble with th doors
