The Fan Blade Is Striking Something Makig A Raip Clicking Noise. It Like The Fan Blade Tips Are Hitting Some Ice Or Other Substance. It Is Louder Sometimes Than Others And Often There Is No Noise While The Fan Is Running. Not A Bearing And The Evaporator Fan System Operates Properly But The Clattering, When It Occurs, Will Drive You Nuts. Sometimes By Slamming The Freezer Door It Will Curtail The Noise. Any Thoughts As To The Cause?

I Took The Ice Maker And Plastic Duct Out And Found That I Had A Small Ice Build Up Around The I.d. Of The Fan Shroud. The Tips Of The Fan Blade Were Hitting The Edges Of This Ice Build Up Causing The Noise ,which Is What I Thought It May Be Because Of The Tone Of The Noise. This Is Probably Why The Noise Was A Come And Go Problem, I Think. Somedays A Little Build Up And Others Not So Much. I Intend To Raise The Freezer Temp Up A Little And See If That Will Remedy The Problem.

I Used This Site To Try And Keep From Going To Any Repair Facility. I Was Aware Of That Option, Wouldn't You Think!
