I have a GE refrigerator(model # DSS25KGREBB). The motor (DC evaporator fan w/o thermister) sometimes runs well, but sometimes not and it caused water tank disp asm freezed. Could you tell me what part needs to be replaced to solve the problem, thanks!

Danny,

You're on track,

Your DC fan motor is the most likely, and probably the only part you'll need.

Part number: AP3875639
Part number: AP3875639

Being a low DC volt circuit, you do want to make sure the wiring connections are good and tight.

Good Luck,

Danny,

First thing,

Do you hear the actuator switch "click" when you press in the paddle ?

The easiest way to test the water dispenser, is with a multi meter and a helper.

Set your multi meter to read AC voltage , attach it to the fill valve solenoid wires( should be the solenoid with yellow and white wires), have your helper press the water dispenser paddle at the fountain, If you have 120 VAC, you need a new water valve assembly.

If no voltage, You'll need to check the actuator switch in the fountain, and the voltage into and out of the main control board"mother board.

:) :) :)
