No response to my first inquiry, so here goes again. I hope someone can help. The icemaker water supply hose on my KitchenAid refrigerator dried out and cracked at the bottom of the hose before it goes into the water valve at the bottom of the refer. The replacement hose is cheap and available, but replacing it looks like it requires dismantling the entire freezer to disconnect the hose at the icemaker and re-route the new one through the top of the freezer, down the back of the refrigerator and to the water valve. Can anyone recommend some documentation which might explain how to take apart the freezer to access this hose? Or maybe recommend a fitting which will allow me to replace just the brittle, cracked section of tubing?
Thanks in advance,
Chuck
