This is a bottom freezer refrigerator. After working fine for about 7 years, it suddenly failed -- no cooling, digital temperature display blank, temp controls inoperative. I replaced the main control board (WR55X10942) and the display and controls came back to life and the compressor and evaporator fan began running. The freezer compartment cooled down to 0 degrees, but the top compartment hardly cooled at all (67 to 65 degrees according to the display) after more than 24 hours. Now, a few hours later, the freezer is up to about 9 degrees and the top is still about the same. I can't feel much air circulation in the top compartment. Before the sudden failure both compartments were holding at about the set points (0 and 37).

What should I do next?

Find the door flap that connects the freezer to the refrigerator. Make sure it is opening properly.
