Part # 2225929 (start relay)is an exact match for part # 8201786 except for the orange dot on the corner. Would part 2225929 work as a replacement?

This parts site has an AP4013414 as the correct replacement part.
The 8201786 is a more expensive kit that you should match up with the horsepower rating of the compressor, lower internal ptc device resistance for the higher hp rated compressor.It also contains the discrete ptc device(the black part, and the discrete klixon, the overload device. These devices are much more reliable, but need rewiring and the use of a meter.
Without a meter, I would use the AP40131414 and use a 1000 joule surge protector to prevent future blowout of the device.
