Hi -

ok...this fridge APPEARS to be having the fridge side working (not sure, but appears so).

the freezer is thawed.

There is a clicking noise that happens for about 10 seconds and then quits. I believe it is trying to get the compressor started.

I am assuming it is an overload/relay issue, but am not certain. Need to act ASAP as all food is thawing...on food stamps... many of you know the $$$ drill right now, so I won't go into it! :)

1. Can I leave the fridge plugged in while waiting for parts?
Will that damage anything?

2. How can I be sure it is relay/overload, and not capacitor or compressor? I am majorly mechanical-deficit...so I can use a screwdriver and hammer...that's about it. Please talk me through it.

Thanks!
