Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/21/2011(UTC) Posts: 3		There is play in the blade where it connects to the motor, while spining this play enables the blade to bang against the motor housing. Is there a way to tighten the blade to eliminate the play?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Moderators Joined: 2/14/2011(UTC) Posts: 816		Uninstall the fan motor. There should be a nut on the front of it. Hold the fan blade to keep the shaft from turning. Tighten nut. Should fix your problem. Hope this helps.:)

There isn't one on the post coming out of the housing. There is a flat metal part holing the blade onthe the motor, but I couldn't fiure out a way to tighten...
