Model Number: 106.56664500 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
The icemaker in my 3 yr old Kenmore (Model # 106.56664500) has quit working. How do I diagnose whether it's the icemaker or the p.c. board emitter and receiver. I would hate to purchase an ice maker then find out it's the emitter and reciver control. The icemaker was working fine before it stopped.

Hi James,
You can find the troubleshooting instructions in one of our previous posts: whirlpool refrigerator side by side icemaker makes little or no ice You can use the same part numbers for your refrigerator. Gene.
