Model Number: 106.74939400 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
the teeth that push the ice out of the icemaker get stuck or hung up. I have to lift the metal arm and put it in the make ice position to start the cycle of the teeth pushing the cubes of ice from the icemaker

Sounds like you have a bad ice maker control module. This is the unit that contains the motor and the on/off switch. The part number is Part number: AP4359694
