I have been trouble shooting my SxS refrigerator and have yet to solve the refrigerator symptom of running but not cooling. Thus far I have replace two components, the adaptive defrost module and the defrost thermostat. Over the past few weeks I’ve had the luxury of watching the operations of the refrigerator problems. Here are the facts, maybe someone might have a clue to this refrigerator problem resolve. First, I can turn on & off the defrost mode with the light switch ( press 5 time to toggle ). I..e. all components seems to be working. Second the refrigerator cooling fan will stop for a couple days the start up again and run fine for a couple day… this cycle has been the norm. One other symptom is the refrigerator side is freezing the contents when the system is working. I was thinking that the problem was related to a relay problem tied to the defrost cycle thus replacing the adaptive defrost module. After replacement the symptoms return after a few days of cooling. Next potential troubled part I replace was the defrost thermostat. Actually replaced that this evening, but still not fixed. Reviewing the wiring diagram & researching the net I have run out of ideas.
