Have new push panel (facade). Do I pull off the old one and stick on the new? This sounds too simple. Or do I remove the two screws under the drain tray and remove the whole panel and ??

Yep. The 2 screws behind the drip tray & it will slide slide down about 1/8 inch & pull away. I just replaced the facade on my maytag. I had to install a new indicator label (insert) since the new facade did not come with it.

On this site, it seems like they want you to buy the whole component, at around $150. I just need the vinyl piece where the buttons are. Can either of you help? Thanks!

Thanks! I see what you mean. They are showing the panel as a complete assembly (panel, switch board & indicator label) & only the switch board is available seperately from the panel. Looks like all the appliance parts suppliers online use the exact same parts break-down diagram, most likely because the diagram itself is supplied from maytag. The only thing I could suggest is to contact maytag directly (which I think is owned by whirlpool these days)
