Got this used unit for great price from contractor that was remodeling nearby home.

Worked well for about 18 months, but ice production now is inconsistent because it seems to get stuck in "cleaning cycle".

Still produces ice if I turn unit off, then restart, but continues to hang up in cleaning mode.

Have not been able to find much definitive info on the web. Best clues I have found suggest either bad sensor someplace or malfunctioning control board.

Have volt/ohm meter and am adept at basic testing of electrical components.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Am I looking at less than $200 to repair, or should I just bite the bullet and get better quality unit?
