I bought front door chrome panels for GE Refrigerator Model #PS123SGRBSV, (part#AP3186036) 7 Freezer (part#AP3186036), to replace them because they were schrached. When the technician came on Friday to replace them, he said that they can not be replaced, because they are glued to the fiberglas door frame. He said that the whole door needs to be replaced. I don't think that is true. If I could buy those parts separately,(without door frame), I think they should be able to be replaced separately.
Could you send me the instructions/diagrams to show how we can replace those chrome panels.
(I think that technician that came to do the repair never changed these chrome panels before & does not know how to do it.)

If they can not be replaced individually, I would need to return them to you. In that case, can you tell me what else I would need to buy with those panels in order to be able to replace them.
Thanks for your help.
