You did not say it but from your second post I am assuming that the fresh food section is too cold.
Check to make sure the spring in the damper is still there. Click on the picture of the parts and you should get an expanded view of it. If OK Then I would start by checking the freezer temperature. It should be 0 to 5 degrees F. If OK them adjust the fresh food thermostat/damper control using lowest and highest settings to see if the damper door will open/close. Give it about 15 minutes to do this at each end of the range. If it does not close then odds are the damper needs replacing.
