The icemaker itself works fine - it makes ice no problem.

The panel at the door has three "dispenser" buttons and one for light on/off.

You can switch between "modes" and the light next to the appropriate button (water, crushed ice, cube ice) lights bright initially - but when you depress the lever in the door panel to actually dispense something, the light in the dispensing area as well as the intensity of the light next to the selected button goes very dim. After about a second, the light intensity comes back to bright.

I hear the click of the switch itself, but don't hear any other sounds/relays/etc. Since it happens on both the water and ice settings, I think it isn't a problem with the water line to the door, nor a problem with the dispensing motor for the ice; perhaps a controller card?

Thoughts on what I can do to diagnose further?

Thanks in advance!

I can see how that may be the issue with the water dispenser setting, but this does not make sense to me w/ the ice settings. Again - the ice is getting made just fine, and the fact that all three modes yield the same result (dimming lights, nothing dispensed, no other noises) it makes me think there is one cause for all three issues.

Thanks for the thought though.
