Positive water and function at the freezer door hinge. No air or water at the dispenser. What is between the freezer door hinge and the dispenser? Just a line or is there a valve? How do you access the inner door?

Cemc, Based on your post, I guess you're not getting water at the dispenser assembly, but you do have water at the hinge connections, when you press the dispenser paddle. The only thing in the freezer door is, The wiring harness for the dispenser, and the tube for the water dispenser. Unfortunately, That is a "foamed in" solid core door, you cannot access the tube or harness, by removing the inner liner(it's not removable). My best guess would be, that there is a frozen area in the water tube, but I'd also expect to see condensation or frost, on the inner liner or front door panel. I've never had much success at trying to run a new tube through a solid core door assembly, others may have. Good Luck, :) :) :)

Joe,
Thanks, it was frozen. The refrigerator is in a friends rental home and has nothing in it. So I left it off for 24 hours and it worked fine after that.
I reduced the temperature so that when the next renter comes in, they don't experience that issue. Then they can fill it with stuff and adjust the temperature to whatever they like.
