Fridge and freezer not getting cold. Fans both running, coils all clean. Turned back on, ran fine for at least half a day but then same thing. Checked voltage to starter, OK. Turned on, started OK including compressor. Ran a few seconds, then I turned it off for a few seconds and turned it back on. Compressor sounded strange for approx half a minute, then quit, no sound. Fans still running. Pulled starter off compressor, contacts (3) look OK but starter is warm to touch. There is a block that plugs into it, maybe a cap? I do not have schematic. Should I get new starter?
Thanks
