Need A Picture Of Wiring Think Thermistor Wires Reversed
|
Here it is
https://www.servicematters.com/docs/...%202318069.pdf And another one which has the diagnostics in it https://www.servicematters.com/docs/...%202316566.pdf Usually the polarity of a thermistor makes no difference but this is an appliance company so who knows if what they call a thermistor is actually a thermistor. As a example for as long as I remember an unwritten rule is: Do not use "o" in Model Numbers, only zeros are used. Also a "Q" is not used as it can be confused with a 0. Your actual model number is KSSo42QTX00 Looks like Kitchen Aide is making a concerted effort to confuse customers. Next they will have 1's and I's in their numbers. |
not cooling

I would doubt that this will fix the unit, unless both gave an open or a short reading (error code). Even then I would be suspicious since it is unlikely that both would go at the same time.
http://www.applianceaid.com/frig.html Perhaps the above will help you diagnose the problem. |
