I have water dripping from my icemaker into the ice binwhich is creating a huge glob of ice in the ice bucket. What needs to be fixed?

The ice cubes are the correct size. I've been reading other posts and I'm wondering if this could be related to my r.o. system. i have the filters to the r.o. system on order because they are clogged. The r.o. system is hooked up to the frig/freezer. Could that cause the problem I've been reading about with the valve?

Not likely to be related to the RO system: These systems areusually noted to cause LOW water pressure; but not overflows. Pretty likely to be related to a sticking valve, or a mis-directed flow (as in a leak somewhere).

It might be good if you observe a water fill before giving up on the valve. There should be a screw on your icemaker to regulate the water fill. Usually, it's on the right side (as you look at the IM head from the front. Pull off the front cover and you will see the screw. Clockwise rotation decreases the water fill. One full turn in either direction is the limit. You want to see a 5-7 second fill.
