Water leaks out the inlet water valve (where the tube is attached with a "quick push in connection" with a white ring) where a small tube exits on the bottom side of the valve, then makes an immediate "u" turn travelling up the exterior of the back of the frig where it enters the ice maker area at the top. I'be been told that the connection may be corrected by removing the tube at the quick connect, snip off a 1/4 inch and push back into the white ring. I'm having trouble disconnecting the tube.
Question: Can you give me some incite into how this quick connection works so that I might be more successful removing it?
