i a,m looking for a wiring schematic for this mod. ijust replaced a board and i want to bne sure i have the plugs inthe right place Thank you Dave:)

If you plug in the wrong connector, you will see that the motherboard socket pin count is different than the plug. All connector pin counts will match up if you plugged all of them in correctly. Also, the service data sheet will be tucked in below the front kick panel. If it's missing, I would not be surprised, common for GE to just not bother to put it in.

thank for your help i have looked every where for the schamatic. but anyway i replaced the board and so far so good. the frig has never been quiter. do you know of a place i copuld send the board to be rebuilt? again thank you Dave

I would not get the old board fixed, probably not worth the cost. I would add a 1000 joule surge protector to the wall outlet, available at Wall Mart, made for appliances $12.95.
