Default Freezer door
Model Number: hts15bbmfrww   Brand: Hotpoint   Age: 5 - 10 years

When opening freezer door it drops down and has to be manually lifetd in place to close. Is there a part that would keep door on level or is it missing?

Here is your parts breakdown pages, I do not see any cam risers on your model which is odd....see if that washer is missing or if the bottom of the door where it rotates on the stub and the washer might be wollowed out??

When originally delivered, doors were reversed. Feel that spacer washer was lost or brokeata later date. Lean towards being "lost", Anyway, replaced washer and working perfect. Thank you for your interest
