Model Number: Ziss48dcass Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The last two weeks I am getting leakage coming from above the freezer.
It is forming icicles and freezing up my ice maker to the point it will not operate. I called the local appliance repair and they came o ut to look at it and said I needed a new replacement drain kit to the tune of about $600.00 dollars. Can this be repaired easily ? What are the parts in a drain kit ? The tec also suggested before I spend the money to turn the fridge off completely for 24-48 hours and let the big block of ice were not seeing melt. He said the drain is blocked with ice thus the leaking. Has anyone experienced this before? Help! Ads By Google Related Models |
