The last two weeks I am getting leakage coming from above the freezer.
It is forming icicles and freezing up my ice maker to the point it will not operate. I called the local appliance repair and they came o ut to look at it and said I needed a new replacement drain kit to the tune of about $600.00 dollars. Can this be repaired easily ? What are the parts in a drain kit ?
The tec also suggested before I spend the money to turn the fridge off completely for 24-48 hours and let the big block of ice were not seeing melt. He said the drain is blocked with ice thus the leaking. Has anyone experienced this before? Help!
