Ice dispenser
Model Number: 253.52349303 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
My ice dispenser actuator is not working correct we have to push it real hard to the door to get ice we are thinking we will break it do I need to replace the actuator or is there a switch I need to replace and how do I remove it?

It sounds like there's a bracket or lever that actuates the switch, and it has either bent, moved, or broken, and the switch has moved.
