Hi All,

We have a Kitchenaid Superba Side-by-Side Model# KSRA25ILSS02. Over the years we have experienced icing at the diffuser a number of times and have replaced this part a few times including just recently (Diffuser would freeze open or shut and cause the fridge side to get too warm or cold).

Replacing the diffuser fixed the problem every time with exception of the last time. The new diffuser continues to ice up and we have noticed ice/frost in the freezer side (back and bottom) and food in the bottom 2 drawers of the fridge is freezing. We have tried defrosting the fridge for a few days, turning off the ice maker and adjusting the temperature controls but the problem continues.

The service technician placed a temperature monitor in the freezer and fridge. Over a week the freezer ranged from the temperature it was set at to -31F ... he is thinking Thermostat at this point.

Any help on this matter would be appreciated!
