Default Filter Leaks
Model Number: elite   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: Less than 1 year

Water was leaking at the filter. I replaced the filter and it still leaked. I replaced the larger "o" ring and it still leaks. I tried adding a little silicon grease, but it still leaks.

Any suggestions?

To replace the housing, do I also need to replace both lines?

Thanks
Steve

Do not attempt any repairs if the refrigerator is less than a year old and call Kitchen Aid for warranty service. If it's more than a year old, then post the complete model number of the refrigerator.

Gene.

Steve,

The filter housing comes with the tubing, attached to it.

- The part number for the filter housing is AP3887797

This refrigerator made by Maytag for Kenmore. Kenmore does not make appliances, just sell them.
