Drain hose not blocked, but getting evap draining through a screw hole in fan housing. Unit has a braided wire loop positioned inside drain tube, going up through evap coil to electrical connection. Possibly not heating correctly, so drain tube freezing up?

Thanks. Wire loop has continuity, but quite high resistance. I would have expected that if it's a heating coil.

So the next question is, how to test whether it's the coil gone bad or the signal to it? Many thanks, O guru.
